The Bolton Interfaith Council had chosen Mytham Primary School as the planting site because the school is located in the center of the community and its pupils have learned about the atomic bombing of Nagasaki. The Council also helped with preparation for tree planting. <\/p>\n<p>On the day of the tree planting ceremony, a related event was held at Bolton Town Hall in the morning during which the mayor delivered a message, the Kaki Furoshiki presentation took place and children sang and recited their poems. In the afternoon, people moved to Mytham Primary School and the kaki tree was planted in the schoolyard. It was a wonderful tree planting ceremony because the town of Bolton regards objectives such as \u201cPeace\u201d and \u201cMutual Understanding\u201d as important and their strong awareness of those values was felt throughout the ceremony.
